Christmas Front Door Decorations

I always love this time of year, the twinkling lights and smell of cedar trees always brings me back to my childhood. I love decking the halls for Christmas, and for me that always starts with my front entryway. I was honored this year to be asked to be a part of the 12 Doors of Christmas from Schlage! This year I decided to keep my decorations classic and neutral and started with a simple cedar garland and some elevated DIY wreaths.

I have used both faux wreaths and real wreaths in the past, and this year I decided to combine the two! I started out with a basic faux cedar wreath and then elevated the look by adding fresh greenery, eucalyptus, pinecones, and a simple gold ribbon. If you are looking for an easy yet impactful way to spruce up your holiday door this season I recommend upgrading your door hardware. Switching out your hardware will brighten up any doorway. Along with looking great, the best gift I can get this season is peace of mind and knowing that my home is safe. Schlage’s durable deadbolts for exterior doors is a great place to start when ensuring the safety of your home. I love the matte black finish paired with the Addison handleset for the perfect mix of modern and traditional.
